Meowmin ("we", "our", "app") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your information.
Data We Collect
- Diary entries — The text you write in your daily reflections. Encrypted and stored securely (Turso DB). Your journal is yours alone.
- Account information — Email address and display name if you sign in with Google. Anonymous users are not asked for this.
- Approximate location — Used only for calculating accurate prayer times via the Adhan library. Never uploaded or shared.
- Device information — Used solely for scheduling reminders (suhoor, iftar, night reminders).
- Subscription status — Processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd (our Merchant of Record) and RevenueCat for entitlement sync. We never see or store your card, bank, or full payment details.
How We Use Data
- Diary text is sent to an AI provider to generate personalized Islamic reflections, suggested tasks, and Qur'anic references.
- Location is used locally on your device for prayer time calculation. It is not transmitted to our servers.
- Email is used only for account identification and support communication.
User-Generated Content
Your diary entries are private to you. We do not display, share, or publish your diary content publicly. If you believe another user has violated our terms or if you need to report content, contact us at contact@taucity.xyz.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. Data is shared only with essential service providers:
- Paddle.com Market Ltd — Our Merchant of Record for all web payments. Paddle collects your email, billing address, and payment method to process checkout, calculate VAT/GST, handle invoicing, and issue refunds. Your statement shows
PADDLE.NET* MEOWMIN. We never see your card or bank details — Paddle does. - RevenueCat — Manages subscription entitlements, paywalls, and purchase verification (synced with Paddle). No payment details pass through our servers.
- AI providers (Fanar / OpenRouter) — Process diary text to generate personalized Islamic reflections, Surah stories, and tasks. Your text is sent per request and not retained beyond processing.
- Google (Firebase) — Provides authentication (Firebase Auth). Anonymous sign-in available.
- Turso (LibSQL) — Our encrypted database for journal storage.
For web checkout, Paddle is the data controller for payment information under Paddle’s privacy policy; we are the controller for your journal and account data. RevenueCat processes subscription status as a processor. See also our Refund Policy (all web refunds via Paddle) and Pricing.
Data Deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app: Profile → Delete Account. Data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days of deletion.

This app does not contain external links or third-party advertisements.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the app and on this page.
